Although I wasn’t aware of this until I heard it on the radio this morning on my way to work, today is U.S. Constitution Day a.k.a. Citizenship Day.

September 17,1787, 42 to of 55 Delegates met to sign our U.S. Constitution after almost daily meetings for several months.

It is this document that many, including myself, consider the backbone of this the greatest country in the world.

If you really want to drill down and read all about the history of this day, like I just did, you can start by visiting ThoughtCo.com. There are several links to the back stories about this incredible event, the signing of The United States Constitution.

I don’t know about you, but I get chills running down my back when I read about the amazing forethought and accomplishments of our founding fathers.
