Life Insurance is something most people put off until the last moment but not for good reason. I cannot begin to tell you how many people I have met over the years that had to endure the loss of a loved one with absolutely no life insurance coverage in place.

When we are young we think we are invincible so we decide not to “waste money” on life insurance. This ,though insane in my mind, is very common in middle class and lower families.

There is nothing that pains me much more than watching families try to “pass the hat” to try and give their recently passed family member a proper funeral. But guess what? It happens all the time!

What usually happens is a recently widowed spouse calls me after having struggled to give her or his partner a proper send off. Fortunately, you can get ‘burial insurance” relatively easily these days. Guaranteed Issue plans are now available in all states. New York was the last to join the party as usual.

It is still much better to buy insurance when you are young and healthy but we do have choices today in case we unable to get it earlierIf you have questions about life insurance, do not hesitate to call me.
